OUR STORY

Welcome to Westcan Printing Group, where we believe strongly in a team concept, so we've made great efforts to assemble one of the best teams in the industry from administration to production. We need to have a solid team to put at your disposal.

In March of 2005 the Westcan Printing Group was acquired by Printcrafters Inc. whose company philosophy mirrors those of ours and the purchase was a very key and important first step in what will be many acquisitions in the coming years. Printcrafters Inc. was started in May 1996 with a staff of 11 as an employee owned Sheetfed Printing Company. Our main business from inception has been the printing of books and magazines for some of the largest publishers in the world. In addition, we also do general commercial printing and now after 12 years of operation we employ over 140 people with revenue of over $22,000,000. Although the print industry will continue to go through major consolidation, in the future we will continue to be a leader with our long term strategies. Printcrafters plans to continue with our aggressive growth strategies by both through internal and acquisitioned growth.

Having the state-of-the art equipment we have, without a passion for printing would be meaningless, kind of like a book with blank pages (editors' note: also referred to as a notebook). Publishing is full of challenges, our notebook is full refinements, experience and tricks that ensure your next publication is printed with exceptional quality and competitively priced without personal service or an efficient production schedule.

At Printcrafters Group of Companies including Westcan, printing is our business; you can see the interest, sense the challenge and almost feel the reward our staff takes in their work. Today's culture, from notable to noteworthy, is shared through the printed page... and Printcrafters / Westcan is a part of that - in partnership with publishers, writers, illustrators, designers and cartoonists to name a few of the people who make up our clientele. How could it not become a labor of love?
