Bindery Much of the character and quality of a book can be determined by its binding. With this in mind we take great care and interest in making available a variety of bindings of the highest quality. The end product can be finished in a number of ways including press varnishing, lamination, flood and spot UV coating (all these options are available in both matte and gloss finishes) or gloss aqueous coating. We also offer a number of specialty services including 3 hole drilling for binders, round corner cutting, shrink wrapping, tab dividers, foil stamping/embossing, die cutting, loop stitching and blow-in reply cards. CPC-32 – Prepress to Press Ink Control:Our prepress system is connected to the pressroom through CPC-32 which creates CIP3 DATA for proper ink settings and press sizing at the same time the plates are made.CIP3 technology saves us “make-ready” time on press, so that when you arrive for a press check the presses are ready to run. With our automated Heidelberg systems ensures your last press sheet will always look as good as your first sheet! CPC-24 Prinect Image: Prinect Image Control is a colour measuring system for monitoring quality outside the press. Prinect Image Control determines the deviations from the predefined reference values and automatically tells the operator what adjustments are needed. These adjustments are approved and sent online to the press, which then regulates the ink zones in all the printing units simultaneously.
