Spiral and comb binding

These types of binding utilize metal or plastic elements, such as a spiral of wire / plastic or a linked series of plastic loops, which link through perforations along the spine edge. Spiral and comb binding is commonly used for products which need to lay flat such as manuals, maps, cook books and diaries, when other binding options would make their manufacture too expensive. We also offer a "hidden plasticoil" solution which allows the publication to have a spin. With our new Sterling High Speed automatic plastic coil binding system complete with in-line coil making and automatic punching systems, we can create coil and bind books at speeds up to 700 books per hour, with a minimum book size of 4 x 4 to a maximum book size 12 x 17 and coil diameters from 6mm to 50mm.
